We partnered with a traditional PDA manufacture on this embedded solution for logistics and supply chain applications. This devices offers a volumetric scanning feature in addition to traditional PDA barcode scanning and other features. An item size estimation app is built into this device.
This platform is open to development through our SDK. Unique apps can be developed on this Android system utilizing the depth camera. The depth camera's z-depth accuracy is 1 mm, and the MYNT EYE size estimation app has an accuracy of 5 mm, which will be improved and become closer to the camera's accuracy as the app becomes more optimized.
